The Girl Singers of the Hit Parade”” is a truly entertaining show jam-packed with hit after hit from some of best loved female vocalists of all-time.

Songs will include Rosemary Clooney’s, “Come Ona My House” and “Mambo Italiano”,  Patti Page’s, “Tennessee Waltz” and “Old Cape Cod”, Connie Francis’, “Where The Boys Areand “Who’s Sorry Now”,   Doris Day’s, “Que Sera, Sera” and “Secret Love” and Peggy Lee’s, “Fever” and “Is That All There Is?”  just to mention a few.  Audiences join in singing along with their favorites, laughing along with some of the novelty tunes and stories, and even getting a little teary eyed during some of the familiar ballads.

You’ll not only hear fantastic music performed by world-class vocalists, but also take a nostalgic trip back to a simpler time.  Accompanied by a trio of extraordinary musicians under the direction of Norton Lawellin, the music compliments the era as well as brings a new freshness to the tunes.

The show, conceived by Colleen Raye, features her singing as well as other members of the family.   For over a decade, this family of performers have evolved into successful entertainers in their own right. Colleen Raye has a vast resume’ performing in venues from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, including theaters, fairs, festivals, casinos and nightclubs. Her oldest daughter, actress and singer Jennifer Grimm, has appeared on stages internationally as well as with Garrison Keillor and in the Ordway Theatre’s production of “My Way.”. Colleen’s sister, Debbie O’Keefe has been the featured female vocalist with the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra for over a decade and performs regularly with Colleen and the family in “The Girl Singers of The Hit Parade Christmas Show” and their newest show,“The Girl Singers SIRENS OF THE 60S”
