“I want to thank you on behalf of Assistance League of Indianapolis for your gracious hosting of our December 4th luncheon. You were so helpful in offering suggestions for the menu and setting up the ballroom to accommodate our auction and fashion show with 34 tables for our luncheon.
The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Demond Scott, the banquet manager, went out of his way to make sure it everything ran smoothly. He was always right there to answer questions or make suggestions.
The foyer of the mansion was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The fires in the fireplaces lent a welcomed warmth. The Christmas trees with their sparkling white lights added to the festive atmosphere of the ballroom. You did an excellent job creating a holiday mood throughout.
I have received many positive comments about having this event at Oak Hill Mansion. Therefore, I am recommending that the Board vote at their January meeting to have our December 2004 Holiday event at Oak Hill Mansion.”

“The lines on your evaluation form were too small for me to fully express our gratitude and praises for the recent catering event at Zionsville Presbyterian Church. As you well know, this was the first major event we have ever catered at our church and the entire process, although harrowing at times due to late registrants, were never out of control due to your firm’s organization and experience. You took a monumental task and turned it into one of the most memorable events in our church’s history. We all know that the Lord was driving the process but you handled the practicalities of the situation beautifully.
From the time the original quotes came back from the caterers, we knew we had a winner with The Mansion at Oak Hill. Of the five caterers solicited for bids, you were the only group who fully met our needs on every count. That attention to detail served extraordinarily well on the weekend when our actual numbers on Friday went up substantially over the “final numbers” we turned in on Monday.
During the weekend itself, I was completely at ease with the way in which your staff handled the event. When our custodial staff set 608 places and we had 580 place settings, your staff, working for the Lord, supplemented and all 608 places were set., Thank you so much for handling each crisis and finding wonderful solutions.
We will be hosting this event again next year and your professionalism, quality of food and service and general demeanor have made my job much easier. I will not need to interview caterers because we already have a relationship with the best in town.
